Something to do with DEVELOPERS

Steve Ballmer making monkey of himself. Careful what you say. He might throw a chair at you. Those crazy guys at Microsoft.

Could it be? It is! A new ergonomic keyboard.

It seems like eons since a new ergonomic by the big keyboard maker has been released. Logitech has been focus on their zero tilt design so much that I think they forgot they actually make ergonomic keyboards.

Microsoft has released the follow-up to the Natural Keyboard Pro, the Natural Ergonomic 4000. The fellow at Coding Horrors gives a quick low-down on it. He is certainly excited about it.

Apple II Portable for the PSP

Now you can carry your pet Apple II around wherever you go. It looks real, but I don't have a PSP or passion for Apple to verify it.

Top of the Muffin TO YA!

I like Malt-o-Meal cereals. I wonder if the idea for their new cereal came from a Seinfeld episode. "It's not 'top of the muffin TO YA!'."

Priorities Straight

It's good to see everyone is pitching in to help evacuees. Does the "doctor" believe this is the greatest contribution he can make to the cause?

It does not surprise me Planned Parenthood, an organization founded on the moral principles of eugenics, says
"...providing women with a needed service."
They're doing these poor people a service by obliterating their responsibilities. < /sarcasm >

Landrieu's Wish List

I began to read this, but could only read about a third of it before I felt ill. Senator Mary "Rape the Treasury" Landrieu's early Christmas list.

Amazing what America is willing to pay for. As I read the list, there were many times I was asking "where is private insurance?" and "shouldn't the private sector handle this?"

It was mentioned on a radio show that at $250 BILLION, it works out to $500,000 per victim. (I believe the costs will be higher than that. Think Big Dig and Boston times 100.) It is a common belief the judicial system is America's new lottery system. Now it seems victimization is the new lottery. Suffer loss; get the big bucks!

Don't get me wrong. The federal government should help. The debate is at what point does the federal government begin to help and what should it actually be obligated to help with. Once these issues are decided, the third issue is who manages the money. Louisiana government is crooked and wasteful.

The backdrop to all of this is a hemorrhaging budget. President Bush refuses to re-examine pork spending in the highway bill. Rolling back tax cuts is not the answer. Tax cuts work, but FDR and LBJ style spending won't.

Hybrids: Don't buy the hype

Is this really CNN? Reading the headline, I thought it was some conservative news source.
